GeschichteWe founded USE in Osnabrück in 2016 to bring academic rigour into practical system development. As a university-related research and development institution, we act as development partners for organisations that need human-centred solutions. We analyse, develop and design human–technology interaction systems with strong user involvement at every step. Our processes pair scientific standards with hands-on prototyping: we integrate new technologies while keeping ergonomic needs front and centre. The lessons we learned—especially balancing innovation and usability—made us listen closely to users and iterate quickly. Today we take pride in creating systems that are reliable, usable and rooted in evidence, while staying empathetic to real human behaviour.
