KOBO is a creative studio born in September 2020 from the passion of two Roman photographers, Claudia de Nicolò and Bianca Trevisani. The space, located in the heart of Garbatella, develops and creates photographic projects ranging from the world of music to that of fashion and follows the creative path step by step, from artistic direction to post-production. During the first years of its life, KOBO collaborated with international organizations of all kinds, becoming the heart of various initiatives, such as fashion campaigns, artistic exhibitions and cultural events. KOBO Studio also hosts workshops of basic photography, post-production, film development as well as laboratories related to the creative world. In 2021 KOBO developed the "YOU/th" project: a collective exhibition that brings together, through a "Call4artist", young artists from all over the world and which is hosted every year in a different gallery in Rome. In the studio, based in Piazza Giancarlo Vallauri 4, you can access a bookshop dedicated to magazines, magazines, photo books and independent fanzines. From February 2024, on weekends, KOBO become a "pop-up", an open to the public exhibition where artists or artisans can show and promote their productions. Since 2023 it has been official partner of Uniqlo Italia.
